Statistics: Russian producer price index rises 4.3% in July

MOSCOW, Aug 18 (PRIME) --The Russian producer price index increased by 4.3% on the month and decreased by 2.2% on the year in July, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Tuesday.

Natural resource prices grew by 14.5% on the month in July. Prices in the processing industries increased by 1.7%. Electric power and gas supply prices went up by 2.5%.

In 2019, prices of industrial producers rose 2.9%, the service said earlier.
